The main news of the last few days are all about the network operating.
In the middle of the week, users faced some operational problems. After the Cores update (already available on GitHub), all works correctly.
That’s why it’s so important to keep an eye for updates. We urge all node holders to update to the latest version by April 30.
Current node versions are:
- Peer — 2.1.10
- Infrastructure Torrent — 0.85
- Service Torrent — 0.140
- Verification — 0.5.35
- Core — 0.4.214
Actually, the temporary instability of Cores is good for the network. Thanks to it we found and fixed some errors that could affect the system in the future. Also, this forced break has given us time — now we are working to reduce the network self-recovery time and refine the testing algorithm, in other words, to speed up the network.
Our devs try to release a big update by the end of May to make the network stable before the voting for changes starts.
We are also working to make our GitHub even more usable and informative. For example, the API is available there again and we continue to update this section constantly.
