Testnet release was recently announced by #MetaHash, so main topic of this week in #MetaFAQ is #MetaGate. Let’s begin!
1. What are the Key Functions of the #MetaGate App?
This application is the hub for most functions on the #MetaHash Network. Let’s analyze the dashboard menu:
1. #MetaNews — Here you will find the latest news published by the #MetaHash Network. This way you will not miss out on any updates, and key events that might be of your interest. Posts are published daily and are quite informative. In such a large-scale project like #MetaHash, there is a lot of available information. So, now you won’t miss a thing!
2. #MetaWallet — This is where you can store your Wallets and manage them. You can send and receive transactions, and keep a track on the coin price.
3. Buy #MHC — We wish to make #MHC easily accessible to everyone! So instead of jumping into the Internet, and fishing around in different exchanges, you will be able to purchase #MHC directly within the #MetaGate App.
4. #MetaHash Network Status — All the information including Transactions per Second, #TraceChain Network Geostats, Online Nodes, Network Uptime, Average Transaction Speed and etc. can be found here.
5. #MetaDev — Developers who wish to create\publish their decentralized apps are directed here. the #MetaApps works with any programming language including but not limited to C++, PHP, HTML, JS and etc.
2. How is it that the #MetaGate App was released so soon?
The #MetaHash Team was determined to do so from the beginning. The public is now able to test out the TestNet, also known as the “End Product”. A Blockchain that carries out the functionality of the network is ready and available for download. It’s a rare situation where the TestNet is launched before the start of the ICO! This way, everyone will have the ability and the access to the technology, to see how it functions. After doing so, participants can decide whether or not to fund the project.
3. How do I create a #MetaGate Wallet?
First of all, you will need to download the #MetaGate App onto your device. Once the download process is complete, create a new account, and activate it. Then you will be able to access your personal account, and you will be directed to the main menu. On the main menu, follow this 4 steps:
- Click “Create Wallet”
- Give a name to your wallet
- Create a new Wallet Password
- Generate Wallet
Once this is done, a new Wallet will be created. You will be able to switch between your #MHC, BTC and ETH wallets within the #MetaGate App by choosing the desired wallet from the top left side panel.
