Guys, as you know, on 30 January Facebook has updated its advertising policy related to cryptocurrency, binary options and ICOs. The policy specifically prohibits ads that promote those types of products and services “that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive practices and don’t operate in good faith”. Since blockchain, cryptocurrencies and ICOs have all hit the mainstream, a lot of scammers are blazing the way to monetize traffic through all kinds of ads connected with these popular stuff.
Facebook claims that its policy is aimed to made the app useful, safe and oriented on a user, not an advertiser. That is why this social platform uses its moderators as well as the special algorithms with machine learning to make it harder to profit by banning great types of ads and by encouraging the community to report the content that violates its policy. Impress deeply, doesn’t it? But did you think that there are many trustworthy companies advertising binary options, ICOs and cryptocurrencies with good intentions? What about them? They can’t use such a great business tool as Facebook no longer.
The team of #MetaHash see the future without any type of discrimination. We respect Facebook but let’s face that such an approach is although powerful, but rather outdated. #MetaHash is going to create a decentralized space ruled by people, not by several huge corporations. We let you an opportunity to decide what is worthwhile content and what is deceptive and misleading verbiage. Delete or not delete — it’s up to you, our friends, not to them.
